About Erin Mills
Erin Mills is located between Highway 403 and the Credit River, north of Dundas. It is further divided into Central Erin Mills which is north of Highway 403 up to Britannia and the ‘original’ Erin Mills which is south of Highway 403.
Erin Mills was a master planned community built in phases during the 70’s and 80’s on what was once farmland. The areas of Pheasant Run and Council Ring were developed for middle class families with a mix of small detached and semi-detached homes and Sawmill Valley was intended to be more prestigious with larger detached homes. Most of these lots are large with mature trees. Each area is known for its green spaces and nature paths.
